When he suddenly dissapeared 3 years ago,  he broke my heart. I was devastated. 
Now he and his brother have returned to Seattle, and bringing chaos with them. 

  I slipp into a seat in the back, unnoticed. Good.
 Me getting detention isn't normal. Ever since this morning people have been relentless! Bombarding me with questions and giving me strange looks. Hearing people whisper your name, some congradulating me. Some even being hateful. Can't blame people for being surprised, though. It's not every day that the school's good girl gets detention. And for punching another girl, Riley Flores for that matter.
  -Me(Maddie Bee): good girl, teacher's pet, nerd, dork, bookworm. But with the looks of an avreage teenage girl. Like I said before, lifes not fair.
  -Riley Flores: popular, snarky, sneaky, narcisistic, clever. But with the looks of a model who has a very generous fairy godmother. I want a fairy godmother, too you know. Stupid "Fairy Godmother for Hire" companies that don't actually exist.

She's allowed two screw ups, has to join a sports team, pass all of her classes with at least a C and get some friends before the year is over, or she will be held back. And she's not about to go another year in the hellhole called high school. Jasper, somehow, sees through this every fucking time and it's absolutely infuriating.
