"Wether you like it or not your mine." His possessive growl ran throughout the house. It caused it to rumble a bit. I stood my ground. I watched my beloved or mate, that's what his kind, called it, bash around everything in sight. That's when he cut his hand. His sweet smelling blood filled the air. I tried to keep my vampire side at bay. The fighting with my own body and control made me run out of the house. Faster out of the barrier. Where I could finally use the witch half to me fully get out of there. So much for mate.

Every time I tried to stop, something clenched in my stomach, instinctual and feral. It compelled me to move. Sometimes it felt like it was pulling me in the opposite direction, back the way I came.
