(cover art made by me, also this book will have strong language, gore, violence, suicide and abuse) This story is inspired by wings of fire, legends Darkstalker, but with objects (my way). There are 5 tribes, Gemwings, Electricwings, Frostwings, Plantwings, and Metalwings. here's some back story.
This takes place over 3,000 years ago, when the very first enchanted one is born under the 4 full moons. His name was Lucifer, an Electricwing. The most powerful being in existence. He has powers such as mind reading, seeing the future, shapeshifting, and enchanting objects and people. Unfortunately, he had a violent childhood. His father tried to kill him when he found out about his powers, his abusive mother, and getting death threats from his peers and other tribes, and now... Lucifer wants revenge and to take control of the other tribes. He became King (the very first king) and reigns for over 1,000 years. Who will stop Lucifer's rage and save the world?
BOOK THREE IN THE TIMELINE SERIES
"Anything about the future can be changed," he said. "Even that. I could enchant the mountain to stay up if I wanted to. We can make the future turn out however we like."
-Legends: Darkstalker, pg. 353
Darkstalker and Clearsight just wanted a chance at starting over. But they didn't realize how hard it was, to hold a dying kingdom together by a thread. And with the army scattered across the continent, the treasury empty, the palace burnt, and half their citizens dead, things are starting to feel impossible.
Shadowhunter just wanted to be in control. To drown out her problems in a rush of adrenaline, and the spark of red-hot magic on her claws. But she's got nothing left to burn anymore, and a whole wide-open sky of possibilities.
Eclipse doesn't know what comes next. She's spent her whole life letting other dragons decide how she feels, what she thinks, making her every decision for her. But she's starting to think that maybe there's more to life than constant submission.
Way isn't sure who he is. A cool, coldhearted aristocrat? A starry-eyed theatre nerd? Or just a really sad, scared dragonet? He looks out over the damage he's caused, the bridges burned and trust betrayed, and struggles to change his ways.
Can these dragons heal the wounds of the past--or do some things never change?
