For everything that she had experienced in her seventeen years, Charlotte Finnigan didn't think she could endure much more. Besides, the world as she knew it was falling apart. When she chose to fight in the Battle of Hogwarts instead of helping to evacuate the younger students, she knew that she would only make it out alive at the hands of a miracle.
And a miracle it was.
Thrust into the past with a timeturner and an irritatingly vague letter, a time where Voldemort is steadily gaining power with little pushback from the Ministry or otherwise, Charlotte learns that it is her duty to destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes before he can attack the Potters on October 31, 1981.
The mysterious Regulus Black poses quite the challenge to her efforts, but in him she finds an unsuspecting wormhole to success.
