What wouldn't Regulus do for a second chance, for a better life. For a way to escape. For a way to stop being the Black family heir.
A second life where he wouldn't suffer and wouldn't feel pain, an immortal life he could make the most of, without worrying about mistakes and without being the perfect trophy child for Walburga and Orion Black.
aka: vampire Jegulus au where Reg is a vampire and James thinks he's going absolutely bonkers.

I adored you Madly, Extravagantly, Absurdly.
The Blacks want to marry off their youngest child. He begs Sirius for help and tells him a secret: He is a man and would rather die than be forced to be anyone's wife. Panicked, Sirius arranges a marriage between his brother and his friend James Potter, knowing that Regulus can be the man he is in the English countryside in James' estate, which is a sort of safe haven for homosexual servants who are running from the law or are already convicted. James wants to ensure Regulus' happiness, even at the expense of putting his life on hold for a while. Regulus wants to ensure James doesn't fall into societal ruin because of him. Sirius just wants to help. And Remus is just a very tired butler who watches James and Regulus dance around their actual feelings (literally). (Trans Reggie; set in the Victorian Age, 1890s. No horrible homophobia or transphobia depicted. Dysphoria is thematised. Other tags may be added)Abgeschlossen
48 hours too long
Receiving a letter saying he had 48 hours to live was the best news of Regulus' life. He was done the moment he was born, choking on the umbilical cord, hoping to asphyxiate; sadly, the doctors were competent. And they insisted on keeping him alive from that point on. or Reg has 48 hours to live and die I DO NOT SUPPORT JKR Mostly black brothers angst and jegulus fluff ( its my fan art of regulus)Abgeschlossen

Regulus is a bored, sullen vampire. James is in the wrong place at the wrong time. - "You were sick, and you were dying , so I looked for a solution. I found one. It came with a steep price." He studied their dead mother's doll-like stare, and traced the shape of her nose with a careful, precise fingertip. He moved with the fluidity of water. "We're both vampires. We'll both be vampires until our true deaths, whenever they come. We have to drink human blood, or the thirst comes. It can't kill us, the thirst, but it can make us suffer." "What can kill us?" Regulus asked, watching Sirius take a lock of their mother's black hair in his hand very gently, tie it in a little knot, then rip it from her scalp in one brutal movement. He tucked her hair in his pocket. "Sunlight." Cover Art Credit: Romantic Encounter by Mihály von Zichy![Lady Black: A Black Sister Story. [HP]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/397937345-256-k62297.jpg)

'I loved him. Shit! I 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 him.' ~~~★ Starchaser // Jegulus ★~~~ ♬ sᴏᴍᴇᴛɪᴍᴇs, it's hard to accept love, that willingness to prioritise anothers well-being or happiness above our own even if we do not want to or are not willing to do so.
