Jennie Kwon. Daughter of Roseann Kwon, one of the leading doctors in District Four. She maybe a great doctor, but as a mother she fails to give the love and support needed to raise a child. Her only warmth was from her older brother, Ji-Young Kwon who later was driven insane by the games. Jennie has spent her whole life training for the games, never once expressing the normal life of a child. When her name is picked in the 72nd Hunger Games, she prepares to lose for she has nothing in her life to fight for.

Taehyung Kim. The second youngest out of seven, he has everything that he loves on the line. Though from a quite wealthy family, Taehyung never attended special classes to train and instead was taught by his brothers. He was brought up in a house full of love and affection, yet he still fights for whatever he has earned. Most of it changed when one of his older brothers, Hobi, dies in the games. Ever since then, Taehyung made it his mission to kill the one who took his brother away from him.
