Life tends to throw curveballs at just the correctly designated moment. Camilla Cooper was in dire need of a curveball or rather so a lifeline. Transparency was something Camilla had become quiet fond of for she had no desire to stand out. She knows she needs to just lay low and get to her paycheck.

Camilla used to have a more reasonable existence but due to the nasty divorce her parents revoked in when she was only seven things have turned quite rotten. This life altering divorce has caused Camilla to inhabit the same residence as her pitiful excuse of a mother in Colorado. That consisting of her " mother's" constant hookups and usage of mind altering substances.

Although when a curveball makes it way unto Camilla's small dingy doorstep, all seems to become an oppritunity. Kansas happens to be calling her name. Camilla makes a rash decision to accompany her father, all of whom she has not seen in eleven years, in his residency located in Kansas. Camilla now has a rare occurace for a fresh start that seems manageable. Although like all of life's tricks what happens when she receives a very unexpected visit during the dark hours of the night?
