When young 7 year old Charlet develops a cancerous tumor in her lungs, her 19 year old brother Mark feels helpless. They never got to meet their real parents and have been through at least a dozen foster homes. Finally when Mark turned 18 he adopted Charlet himself and got a job at a local market. The tumor started small, the doctors told him it was nothing, they were wrong. In a years time it developed rapidly. Now Charlet only wants one thing, one more Christmas.
