A One Direction/Harry Styles Fanfic-- Shayley and Harry are best friends. They tell each other everything, and there aren't any secrets between them. Or are there? Shayley hid the biggest secret of her life from her best friend- she was diagnosed with a deadly disease,and once she turns seventeen, it's only a matter of time before she falls into a coma she will doubtedly ever wake from. When Harry gets a call one night to go to the hospital, he gets there just in time to hear her last words before she falls asleep. She tells him that she left a box beneath her bed, with unsent letters, pictures, and songs,and if he reads them,he'll find out the one other secret she couldn't say while he was alive. He has one summer to find out what she couldn't tell him. One summer, holding on to Shayley. One summer, holding on to the hope that she'll wake up again. One summer that will change him forever.
---YES, this is practically the same as my other story, Remembering Shayley. However, I have adapted it for a fanfic. If you are reading RS then you might not like this as Blake has been replaced by Harry and the plot is a little different ---

This is the first Harry Styles fanfic I have ever done. Plus I'm going through a phase at the moment. I have nothing against one direction's songs or actions. I feel bad for them though. They're practically getting injured because of those crazy girls. I don't know how many times I have seen one of the band members get hit with a projectile to the nuts. Overall I wish for their wellbeing and pray that they survive the paparazzi madness and fangirl stalking. I have nothing against the girls but I wish they tone it down a bit but can't get what you wish for. Harry is living on his own and doing well with his life, you know like normal adults. No, he is not famous in this story but he still gets stalkers. His mother, one day, calls him and that he is getting a younger sister. He wonders how and asks if his mother is pregnant, she says no. NIALL: What in the world just happened? I choked at seeing this girl? And did a spit take when I actually got a good look at her? What the hell is wrong with me?
