If it wasn't for her friend Rebecca she doesn't know how she'd make it through life. Well there is another thing keeping her afloat. It's the hottest, nicest guy in school. Having a crush on him since grade 6, Maya, is trying to over come her fears and hang out with him, even though everytime she tries to talk to him she freezes up. Will she ever talk to Jake?

Jake Wicker is the hottest, coolest and nicest guy at school but his life is about to come crashing down when his mother leaves their family for another man and states that she never wants to see Jake again. Then his father starts to date the bitch of all bitches and Jake is forced to stay with another family while his dad and girlfriend leave on a vacation. Only thing is that he hasn't met the family (or at least not the whole family).
