It portrays the collaged feelings of temporariness and it's permanence.

Mismatch flame, literary means the opposite of a twin flame, but not in the soulmate sense of opposite. Just like the right puzzle to hug the other but forming the wrong picture in hindsight. Like fire and water signs, forming nothingness after mergence. Like matching a flame for the match to die through the mismatch. That is, the imperfect compatibility between the two souls.

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. Dawn Smith was very bright and always managed to put smiles on anyone's face. Unfortunately, all that changed when she was diagnosed with a deadly illness at an early age. She hung onto her faith, desperately hoping that there was still a slim chance that she'd get healed. Although, being told a few years later at fourteen, that her illness was now incurable, the little faith she held on to had shattered into millions of pieces. She was now left with the idea that there was no God, or if there was one, then He must not love or care for her. So, she changed her views on life, and hated it. Levi Keller and his gang are the typical rebellious and reckless boys who love to get drunk everyday, smoke on school property and trespass when they know they shouldn't. But as Gwen spends more time with them she begins to realize that they aren't all that bad and their adventurous lifestyle is much more fun than her posh and planned one. Levi helps her realize that there's more to life than being the good girl and even though everyone knows that people like her and people like him should never mix, it's okay to do so. Sometimes the rules need to be broken. But the Detention Club can only have so much fun and before they know it, someone is out to set the strict rules of their town back into place. Caleb is now much more vocal and hell-bent on revenge for all the trauma Rebecca's put him through in their childhood and vows to make her life miserable. The more they spend time together, the more both of them notice each other's good qualities. He realises that his courage and love for football are inspired by Rebecca herself. Problems arise when misunderstandings from the past catch up to them.
