 I would be twenty five this summer. Twenty five was a land mark year for me specifically, Because when I was ten I'd been betrothed, intended, affianced, engaged, pledged, whatever you wanted to call it. I was supposed to be marrying this idiot this summer. I hadn't seen him since we made the pledge. That had been fifteen years. As a kid he'd had dirty blond hair gray eyes, super skinny and really quiet.
