Kayla is a smart, focused, top-mark student in her last two senior years of high school in a private facility for rich kids in Florida. All she wants is to get accepted to Harvard and graduate with top marks to follow the career she has set for herself. Her entire life is about becoming an independent and successful vet. She has micro-managed it and planned it to the tiniest detail. Leaving no room for a social life or living her teen years like her peers.
This year has had its ups and downs, with her stepbrother of almost ten years coming to live under the same roof after being raised apart after their parents married. The chaos and drama his appearance has brought since he despises not only his father but Kayla's mother too, has made home tense. He's a rude, defiant, and arrogant pain in her ass who is hellbent on causing trouble and listens to no one.  
Dane is the polar opposite in every way - Vain, oversexed, a playboy who takes nothing seriously except booze, girls, and his motorbike while he rebels in every way against his father for ripping apart his family. Looking like a teen idol, acting like someone who doesn't need to take accountability for anything in his life, Kayla honestly cannot stand him. She sees a loser who will live on daddy's money and drink away his youth while sleeping with every girl in the county.
At 17, they have known one another most of their lives and never had any kind of friendly relationship. They have always been classmates but never friends and definitely not siblings. - but all that is about to change.

The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not. I hope you try to read it and see that it's really good, and touching sorta. So just try to love it.*
