By tradition, the first born daughter of the royal family shall carry the family name Zelda and unlock the powers used to seal Calamity Ganon. Traditions were broken when the Queen of Hyrule gave birth to twins- two healthy, beautiful baby girls. They named the first daughter Zelda, hoping the Goddess Hylia would answer their prayers and keep tradition. The second daughter, named (Y/n), was hidden from the public eye at the request of the King.

Zelda spent her whole life with government studies and prayer being stuffed into her face, with almost no room for her own personal passions. (Y/n), on the other hand, had no duties to fulfill and instead learned alongside her sister, became a knight, and made a certain special friend. Despite having her place among those who's she's closest to, she still feels confused, as if something in her life quite hasn't clicked into place yet...

That is, until her entire world crumbles whenever she realizes that her true purpose is that of which her sister had been promised her entire life.
