AKA: Tons of angst with a lot of humor and some smut framed with music that involves battles with creatures from another dimension. OR: Eddie falls in love with his best friend and has to defy the odds to lock her down for good.  

Nina Valdez met Eddie Munson in kindergarten and the two became inseparable. Sometimes complete opposites make the best friends. She's bright and shiny while he's dark and edgy. So what happens as they enter high school? Nina befriends Steve & Nancy and eventually the whole gang as she makes her journey through high school and beyond. The gang handles everything from jealousy and drug addiction to monsters from an alternate dimension. Sometimes best friends grow apart and sometimes they grow into lovers. Only time will tell.


"Ooouuuu! Is it from Nick?!" She asked excitedly, opening it up.
"Yes Robin. It is." Nina said, glaring at Steve who just shrugged. He enjoyed having someone to endure Nina's love life with. Especially someone who found it this amusing.
"Are you gonna go?!" She asked with enthusiasm, handing the note back to Nina.
"...I guess."
"Steve. I'll grab snacks. You grab some beer."
"Excuse me? What?"
"We're going to tailgate your dramatic confrontation! Oh! Maybe Nancy, Jonathan, and Eddie want to come too!" Steve let out a laugh and Nina rolled her eyes.
