The two kids from Queens were complete opposites. Peter Parker, the hopeful hero who wants nothing but to help people, and Rory Payne, the girl with logic, only wants to get through high school in one piece. Peter Parker runs towards danger, runs towards the opportunity to be someone else. He wants to look out for the little guys. Whereas Rory's goal was never to become a hero, and often has a hard time doing the right thing.
