Anabel Lovington is the prize princess of Loronia. She sits alongside her brothers, Prince Reginald "Reggie" Lovington and the newly crowned High Prince, Alden Lovington. While from appearance, she is the perfect princess, Anabel is a fighter. She trained with one of the fiercest knights in all the lands, Sir Lawrence Redmond. War plagues the land for centuries when it falls into Alden's hands. Alden must now figure out how to stop this war. On the other side of the battlefield, Prince Nathaniel Bellville of Everidge plots to take down Loronia once and for all. Nathaniel and the princes from Loronia join the fight. Unable to sit idly by for long, Anabel soon joins the battle. Disguised, per her brother's request, Anabel comes face to face with Prince Nathaniel. Anabel escapes the battlefield, but not before her identity is revealed. Prince Nathaniel plots, and in a siege of Loronia's castle, Anabel is captured.
