it's been years since Sam Winchester had seen his brother, he was kicked out when he was 16 when he came out, and he was raised for the rest of his teenage years by Bobby.
all Sam had ever wanted was to see his brother again, but John didn't let Dean talk to him. the only thing he has of his brothers is a necklace that he gave him for his 10th birthday and an old AC/DC t-shirt.
Sam's 22 now, and he's accepted the fact that he's probably never going to see his brother again. he ended up getting married at 18, and by 21 he was a single father after Bobby killed his abusive husband.

The hair wasn't his thing, nor was the fleshy mounds all the boys seemed to be obsessed with. He hated having them so much. Between his legs felt so empty, too.
