Amelia doesn't feel threatened by any boy, any man, until she meets Parrish Livingston. Parrish is the new handyman at the diner where she works. He grabs her attention unlike any other guy she's met, which scares her. She quickly realizes she can't hold back, or tease him off. He makes her feel curious and she can't hide away from her feelings for him forever.

Parrish Livingston is a singer, song writer, and guitarist who has moved to Vegas from Pennsylvania. He was a womanizer in high school through college, which is what got him kicked out of college. His father told him to move to Vegas, work at the diner, and grow up. Parrish is talented, but he's been taking a break from his talent since college. He's never been in love but he sure has slept around. He knew Amelia was different. Parrish couldn't stop thinking about Amelia since that first conversation they had in the quiet room, in the back of the diner. That feeling was so foreign to him, but at the same time he was fascinated by how she made him feel.
Will Parrish and Amelia find love for the first time together? Through all the adventures they go through, together or separate, they have to figure out how to let go of fear.
