The school Akademi High holds a lot of secretes because of its unchecked past but Emma ignores it, focusing more on finding the 'Demon' responsible for the death of the students and keeping the relationship she has with her friends at bay. Then a new person shows up claiming to expose Emma's secretes unless she helps her communicate with an old dead friend.
But with new people, recurring names, an old flame, a former bully and a jealous 'boyfriend' things are going to be more complicated especially when she gets closer to the truth no one wants to find out.
