After being freed from his demise, Grian has a chance to join The Council and help his new siblings protect the servers from a creature that is a threat to everything. At the same time he lives in Hermitcraft and tries to keep his Watcher identity a secret from his new friends.

But when the threat seems to be more familiar than he expected, how will things turn out? Will his past come break down the door, or will he be able to keep it out?
