READ BEFORE READING!!!: (Takes place in season 4) Elmax, Byler, Henclair, Jopper, Steddie, Ronance (Yes the others will be here too, just not Suzie... Suzie broke up with Dustin) (I LITERALLY LOVE HENCLAIR SO SORRY IF YOU DON'T!! THEY'RE JUST SO CUTE TO ME!! El and Max get together later on..) MY AU: Will Byers is now living his life in California with his mom, Joyce, brother, Jonathan, and now sister, Eleven (El/Jane). Will is experiencing trauma and nightmares of his time in the upside down, and everything that followed it, while also balancing school and bullies... He's having trouble sleeping and is still mad at Mike for their argument, for which he never apologized. Will can't stand this, and it gets worse when a strong monster from the upside down named "Vecna" tries to kill him, leaving Will relying on music as his only hope. Will feels alone and like a mistake out in this world. He's mad at Mike, but also loves him, he feels like a freak, a weirdo. And what happens if El finds out? She's gonna be mad, hell maybe she'll even try to kill him! Will tries to survive life, and his hallucinations/nightmares. What happens when Will has to risk his life? Does he live or die? After the events of season 4 volume 2 of stranger things that leaves Maxine Mayfield in a coma, her friends are worried for her future (and if she will even have a future). Eleven visits the hospital everyday (along with other members in the party), trying to go into Max's mind and find her best friend. Everyday is the same result: Max is nowehere to be found and absolute darkness takes over her mind. Until one day, right before Eleven is about to give up on connecting with her friend's mind...she makes a connection. Out of a glimmer of hope, Eleven reaches out and connects with a piece of Max's mind...or rather, a memory in Max's mind. Now, the party must figure out how to get their friend back by traveling through Max's memories.
