It's always hard losing someone whether it is an actual loss or a break up of some sort. Regardless of what has happened you can grieve and it can hurt but sometimes you can get over it. You have the period of intense mourning thinking is this person no longer in my life?. Sadly yes. In this case it's a friendship that spands almost a decade and the relationship between slowly deteriorated and died.
