Seventeen year-old Raven Livingston only wanted one thing in this world; Her arm. After losing her arm and both parents in a fire, Raven is left with only her schizophrenic brother, a charred house, and a deformity that costs her the dancing career she always wanted. When given the opportunity to get her arm back and make her brother sane, she goes for it. Soon, she realizes that getting what she wants comes with a price that no amount of money can pay, and must abandon all she knows in order to survive...

This is a story I wrote for school. It has been worked and re-worked on so many times I highly doubt it's anything like I originally saw it to be. It is written in the form of a diary, so it consists of dated entries and lots and lots of pretty small paragraphs. Each chapter consists of two to four entries from Raven's diary. As it is a diary and I like to keep things kind of realistic, the entries are very short. It's still in the process of creation and may take a while for new entries to be posted, as they all go through some pretty serious editing.
