This is my OC, Artemis's, backstory. Artemis is a fennec fox, don't ask why, I thought is was cute. Keep in mind, this is all fake, my life isn't actually like this. I suppose you all know that an OC and the real person are two completely different individuals most of the time. Unlike me, who is fatherless, Artemis is motherless. I drew the cover photo, it's not the best, but it's cute. Artemis's name is Ash (like mine) but then it becomes Artemis later on. You'll understand that better when you read. Also, I took that Soldier, Poet, King quiz. I'm a king/ruler, hence the title. For some reason, when I took that quiz, it made me want to make an OC with a backstory. I have no idea why. So I decided to incorporate that into the backstory. ANDDDDD, my OC has nothing to do with the goddess Artemis. Artemis is just the name I chose. So don't be in the comments like "actually, in Greek mythology, Artemis is like THIS" because I know. I love Greek mythology and stuff like that. I know quite a bit about it. I do not own The Mummy (1999). All rights go to the creators of The Mummy. Adalinda Carnahan had always loved Egypt. Her mother and father would take the whole family on digs. After her parent's death, she spent time in England studying and getting her degree in Egyptology and working as a nurse. When the Great War happened, she was sent to work alongside the doctors to get soldiers back on their feet or send them home. Now that the war is over, she's back in Egypt and has no plans to leave anytime soon. Her older brother and younger sister are here, and she can finally do what she loves. Go on digs and find lost pieces of history, her history though she doesn't know how true that is yet.
