When 16 year old Syrena witnesses her 15 year old sister Arielle get kidnapped by a man who vanishes into thin air, she is determined to find them.
Even if that means ditching her new bodyguards and running headfirst into a world she knows nothing about. Along the way she discovers that she and Arielle are a race of celestial beings called Nephilim, the offspring of angels and humans.
Syrena will stop at nothing to get Arielle back, even if she has to literally go to hell and back to do it. But what she doesn't know is that she is running straight into a raging war, and the opposing sides are not the ones she thought.
All of her faith and strength will be tested because she's being Watched.
