The girl merely glanced at his hands and then looked back into his eyes, seemly unconcerned by his anger. "I've seen that expression in the mirror of my own face, to recognize that look." Mirror? Was she talking about her reflection? Her expression? Why would she make that expression unless...she lost someone too?
