A POV story about Eddie Munson and Riley Smith. After Being best friends since they were 3, Eddie and Riley part ways in high school. Riley is a softball player while Eddie is known as the school freak who runs the DND club with his groupies. Riley is consumed with softball her senior year, hoping to get a scholarship to college while Eddie secretly is consumed by her. He attends every one of her games, but she has no clue. They never really speak in school anymore except with a small wave or a nod in each others directions once in a blue moon. Riley just wants to focus on her future while Eddie can't stop dreaming that his future is being with Her.
