As an aspiring chef, Adeline's ecstatic when she's accepted to go on America's Top Chef, a world-renowed cooking show. Adeline's dreamed of opening a restaurant for as long as she could remember, and going on TV seems like the perfect way to make herself known. And things are going well. On the first day, Adeline meets Amir, a charming and funny guy who really gets her. The judges are over the moon with her first dish, and without her parents hovering, Adeline's finally able to explore the world. Amir's questioning his choice of joining America's Top Chef when he meets Adeline. She's cute and absolutely hilarious- and when he tastes Adeline's food, Amir knows he's down bad. As the competition progresses, Amir's wondering if two short weeks with her is really enough, and if a chance at being with Adeline, perhaps also after the show, is even remotely in the realm of possibility. But as relationships between the contestants quickly sour, Adeline and Amir are suddenly scrambling to stay on top of their game. Threats of sabotage, lying, and cheating are at play. With the threat of elimination looming over her head, Adeline decides to spend more and more time with Amir, and she's beginning to hope that maybe, just maybe, he'll be the one good thing that will come out of the competition.
