Au where Dustin isn't dating Suzy and never went away to camp so will feels less pressure to date and they didn't use the giant phone thing for it no one heard them sing, Mike and will didn't have that fight because Dustin got them to play with them and out of loyalty they didn't join another party so they meet eds in the hall one day he asks them to join they scramble there words trying to explain he lets it go and decides they might as well be friends they still not end up going to Lucas's game though.
Oh yeah and this is starting on wills 18th birthday (or the day before) so there all of age already since he was one of the youngest
Mike and el broke up mike explained to her all his feelings for will (he was projecting onto her because he felt like he had to be with her like everyone expected them to) and came out to her as bisexual
Will ALSO came out to her so she's trying to avoid them both so it doesn't spill out

Will thinks Mike has a crush on a girl only to realize a bit too late that they were already on a date 3. The same story as number 2, only from Mike's perspective instead (with some different scenes) 4. Mike knew what Will was saying with the painting in the van scene. When Will tells him he's the heart in reference to El, he thinks he might've been wrong. 5. Will accidentally starts flirting with Mike because he likes seeing him blush. Will doesn't fully realize the implications of that. 6. When Mike is confronted with the fact that Will hasn't had his first kiss he stupidly steps up to offer it to him. 7. Will tends to zone out around Mike, especially when it comes to the topic of dating. He realizes he missed an important discussion about that a little too late. 8. Byler celebrating 4 Christmases from the years of 1984 to 1987, starting as friends and growing into something more. 9.
