At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough? Luz and Amity live very different lives. Amity is a witch who is from a rich and powerful family who doesn't treat her the best, she has no friends. Luz is a half-witch, half-demon with black, feathery wings. She lives with her adopted mom (Eda), adopted ren (Rain), and adopted brother (King), she also has no friends (Gus and Willow are coming later). One day, they meet completely by accident and become fast friends. (my spelling is bad and this is my first fanfic. I also don't have a plan, at all. So this won't be the best.) Her first time going through it was hard, which was to be expected as she was only fourteen, but it wasn't completely unbearable. Her parents simply brought her to a room in the manor designed specifically for times like that and she stayed there for the week that it lasted. After three years, Luz, now a nonbinary 19 year old, has returned to Connecticut. After having taken her last two years of high school, and her freshman year of college in DC, she knew there was going to be changes, she was...prepared. the first change was how her ex Amity, this total badass, hot slice of cherry pie of a woman, was back with her ex girlfriend Boscha. Luz honestly didn't mind, but the fact that she was in the same double dorm as Boscha at Hexside Private University was kinda aggravating. It was quite often she was booted from her own goddamned dorm room, so boscha could "give it" to her side peice.. Luz's friend Willow. Instead of her own girlfriend. So Luz and Amity have spent a lot of time in Amity's single recapping shows and book series together, in the beginning Luz thought it was just one of their 'friend' meetups but, Amity loved it when the brunette knocked on her door, her heart and many other places ached for the muscular, jock built nonbinary. It was no secret amongst herself that she wanted to see and memorize Luz's abs, to feel her defined chest muscles she had surgery to make flat. to recognize the peach fuzz three months of testosterone gave her.. to drown in the smoothness of her voice. Amity still had it bad, Luz however had already accepted that Amity was taken, Amity.. hated that. Amity finally found the courage to confess her feelings to Luz, only for it to end in disaster. As Amity tries to deal with this rejection Luz struggles to comprehend her feelings for Amity. In the wake of her heartbreak Amity meets a new girl attending Hexide who might just love her in the way Luz doesn't. Alongside this Amity is desperate to escape the abuse of her parents, but with no where to turn she is losing hope fast. Will Luz figure out how she feels for Amity in time? Or will the duo remain little more than friends forever onward? This story takes place after episode 17 but episode 18 and 19 never happened in this AU and Amity never broke her leg. Luz has went to camp and when she came back she didn't act any different, she still didn't get one friend so her mother (Camila) changed. She got aggressive/abusive with Luz and school doesn't help, the second day of school comes and before Luz leaves she runs away and finds a house. Luz runs into it and turns out it took her to the boiling isles. But Luz has changed, she was mean, quiet, hostile and had mad trust and anger issues she also developed Hemophobia (fear of blood) and Traumatophobia (fear of having an injury). When joining Hexside the girls there were mean and harsh like the kids at her human school, but Luz learned how to stick her ground there at her human school. Luz would stand her ground and be mean to literally everyone that got in her way.
