17-year old Nicholas fainted during his annual piano performance last year on the 25th anniversary of his music school. Not only did it cause a ruckus but also his parents accused him of causing "madness which will dirty the Anderson name". This year, however, Blake performed Nicholas' piece flawlessly which caused pain to spread through Nicholas body and dislike towards Blake.
