Zelda in all her glory gives Link a gentle smile, it didn't seem genuine but more like a business smile to trick people with a friendly facade 

"Well it is a pleasure to meet you Link,but...."

"I can't believe my father would just decide something like this! and out of all things i am perfectly capable of protecting my self without a plastic toys help!" Zelda pouted fuming with anger

Link remained poker faced "Excuse me princess?"  he did want to know what caused her humane reaction

"Link starting today you are my appointed body guard"

Link was a bit of a problem child when he first started school, all he ever knew was the kindness from his best and only friend, so when faced with other nastier people their age, he didn't react too well.
