Clary's mom finalizes her divorce with her abusive husband, and decided to officially move away from their california beachside home. She returns back to the New York institute, nearby an old friend. Clary revisists old friendships, makes lifelong friends, and faces imminent danger all while untangling her heart.
Disclaimers: this fanfic doesn't at all really stick to the book plots, except for certain aspects. Highly recommend reading the series before this fanfic. This is a story I wanted to write for fun and to kind of play on the "what if" of the gang knowing each other after...certain people...are already shadowhunters and vampires hehehe. All the characters belong to Cassandra Clare and the series! No original characters of my own in the story right now.
