Amelia is the main character of this story. She a teenage girl from a small village and after an incident she runs away. The whole story is about the adventures she goes through and her way back home- if she's ever going to get there.

The Masquerade
Every year for the past hundred years, there has been a masquerade ball that was held where all wolves found their mates, in particular, Alpha Landon, a twenty-three year old that is the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack.
