This is really nothing more than me trying to shake the rust of not writing for a very long time. It will follow the bachelors of Stardew Valley, explore trials and tribulations they may experience, and they will absolutely be self-indulgent scenarios. I had a really fun time writing this first part with our anxious doc, Harvey, and have a soft spot in my heart for him as well as Shane and Sebastian. Though, I would like to branch out and write something for each of the romanceable characters in the Valley :)
Feel free to leave constructive criticism as well as any requests - I can NOT promise that I will get to them, but I would love to hear ideas for moving forward!

a Stardew Valley fan fiction: The Proper Care and Feeding of Souls
So, I wrote this for myself, not expecting anyone else would ever read it. I needed it, so I wrote it. When I was done I figured maybe someone else might need it, too, so here it is. The beginning might feel heavy or boring, but please hang in there because just like life - the good stuff comes out of the dark stuff. Grace vowed to herself that she would rid herself of the broken, predictable life she had somehow fallen into and in its place, she would create a new life, one that truly fed her wanting soul. Reeling from an unthinkable experience, Grace moves to Stardew Valley, intent on recapturing the magic of her childhood. Instead, she finds herself on a ramshackle farm, void of childhood memories. Slowly, she discovers the true magic of the valley in the people who live there. Life on Sandy farm
This story is somewhat based off of my farmer "Willow", when they moved into Stardew Valley with their mother, and younger brother ("M" (mom) and "B" (bro)). They (Willow) wanted to move out of the city to get away from them, but... They didn't have much of a say when it came to them (The family) coming along... They wanted to get out of the city as well, and their grandfather's letter was the only way to do it at the time... (Do I always just take whatever stories I happen to have in my head and dump them into Google Docs? YES! Is this why my stories usually seem to make no sense? Double YES!) (WARNING! Slight mentions of blood in chapter 4.) (There's a lot of POV changes in this story.) (A little info about farmer Willow: They have selective mutism and social anxiety, and they're only able to talk to people if they know 100% that they can trust them. This is why they can usually only be seen talking to their mom and brother. they're not very fond of them sometimes, but they're able to let their guard down around them... Most of the time.) (There's not really much to be said about M and B. They're just kinda... There.) (The story kinda 'slowly' starts to become Seb x Farmer as it goes along... So, that's a thing.) (Edit: It is VERY...
