Eighteen-year-old Malik Deveraux is finishing out the last couple months of senior year before heading off to college in the fall. Believing he's about to score one of the most attractive boys in his class, he is met with disappointment when he realizes the boy who he's been sure has been gunning for him for the past two monts is painfully straight. That being the third time that's happened to him, Malik vows to stay away from boys for the remainder of the year, afraid to fall for the wrong guy again. His vow comes into question when he's tasked to tutor football player Evan Romano, a 'pretty boy' who's failing Film Studies. As the two spend more time together, Malik does everything he can to steer clear from 'that' part of himself that'd find Evan attractive. Soon, he doesn't have to do much when basketball player Kellen Julien-Parker comes into play, making it clear that he wants Malik. As the two begin a flirtatious streak, it's only then Evan begins to show signs that maybe tutoring wasn't all that Malik was teaching him. Soon enough, Malik goes from being a gay Black boy who hasn't had a boyfriend to two handsome men ready to battle it out for him. And who is he to stop them? Two is better than none, after all.
