Each new strand mutated and became its own, new virus, and spread more easily than the first. The Walking Corpse virus was the deadliest one, the one that took everyone by surprise. Laura and her family had held up in their apartment until supplies ran out, forcing them outside for the first time since the virus took over. We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way?
