We all know the story of the Inazuman Civil War. The Raiden Shogun enacts the Vision Hunt Decree, Watatsumi Island leads a rebellion, the Traveler finds themselves unwittingly involved, and, through a subsequent series of events, the Traveler defeats the Raiden Shogun, resulting in the repealing of the Vision Hunt Decree, an end to the civil war, and, little by little, the reformation of the Shogunate itself.
...But what if the Traveler failed? What if the Raiden Shogun had slain the Traveler and doubled down? What would become of Inazuma, its people, and the associates of the Traveler and the Shogun? How would the other nations, the Fatui, and the Abyss Order respond?
This is just one potential answer out of many, but perhaps it will suffice...
(Three side notes before you begin reading. 1: This is my first story on this platform, so any and all constructive criticism is welcome. 2: Just in case I have to directly credit the cover, it was made by miHoYo. Not for me, it's obviously the Raiden Shogun's official art. 3: I'll edit the basic information displayed here as time goes on.)
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
