I live in The City of Life. Also known as Dubai; where I swear to god I once saw a bar 50 meters away from a mosque. 

If that doesn't scream bizarre I don't know what does. But what had me incredulous was the fact that it is ok for a guy to disrespect a girl but if the girls so much as retaliates she is doomed for an eternity of isolation. I'm not even kidding, I saw it with my own two eyes. 

Which is why, I, Reem Jassem, start a feminism campaign at school.
