The Tamer and His Beast

"Destiny is interesting," he said, looking up at the stars. "Some beings like to rely on a god or deity, feeling free from the responsibility of deciding love and the future of their lives. Others would rather decide everything, running away from things that ground them as they hop from one fleeting feeling to the next."
"And what about you?" Geoff asked, looking at him shyly.
"I always chose my own destiny," he told him. "I chose to live my life based on the things that I felt were right."
Those eyes finally looked at him, his face as serious as could be. They locked in with his, leaving Geoff breathless with their power.
"And," he continued. "Right now, I choose you."

Adventure is always just around the corner, as easy as the wind blowing him towards his next destination with a mixture of the past and present, all is well for Geoff. The chaotic is normal, and a challenge is always thirsted for in his life. But when life throws him another curve ball, now Geoff's in for the test of a lifetime as his next mission is greater than any tamer known to man.

A life or death situation leaves him with a beast that he wasn't expecting, and a problem with the world and everything he knew. If that wasn't hard enough, life decided to throw in a test of his heart as well.

And he was a sucker for a good looking man.
