Her father drops her off at an elite boarding school, Sword and Fire, in hopes she discovers the truth. But will she want to uncover the dark past that has been longed buried?
What will she do when strange things start occurring around the school? What are these weird dreams she's having? Why are the teachers suspicious of her? Why are the popular kids watching her every move? And why does she feel a strong connection with one Dimitri Alaister?

"Evie, remember." His eyes bore into my soul; pleading for something, anything.
"Remember what? I don't understand."
"Just..." he lets out a frustrated grunt while taking a few steps away from me. He turns his back and runs his hand through his hair.
"Please help me understand Dimitri. I don't know what's going on with me. I have so many questions with no one to answer them. Like, why is it that you are at the center of all this? Why do I feel so strongly about you? I don't even know you!"
