Charlotte Henderson, preferably known as Charlie, is just trying to live a normal, senior year at Hawkins High, when she is thrown in between two very unexpected love interests. She meets the charming and fascinating Eddie Munson who is quick to express his interest in her. But her lifelong best friend Steve Harrington is then pushed into a confession of his feelings for her, that have always hung in the air between the two of them, when he sees her slipping away to another. And as if that weren't enough, she discovers the biggest secret of all when she falls victim to the chaos and dangers of the Upside Down and all the threats that come with it.

She stops in Pittsburgh for a night to get some sleep before continuing on the road. Charlies decides that drowning her sorrows at a local bar sounds better than hours alone in a motel, contemplating all her messed up life choices. She happens to run into a beautiful stranger whose band is playing a gig that makes a one night stand, something she's never done, sound pretty intriguing. Imagine her surprise when she gets to Hawkins and finds out the mystery man from Pittsburgh is a local resident of the town.Complete

This story is a Steve x oc fem. But at first it's mainly following the friendship of Eddie and the main girl. Steve is just mentioned at times. He becomes the leading man after the whole Vecna awfulness. I will make this into 3 parts; Part 1 Friends and enemies, Part 2 Death and destruction, Part 3 Heartbreak and Love Emma moves with her dad all the way from Sweden to Indiana in the United states. In the small town of Hawkins she's new to school and feels like a freak. She befriends the outgoing Eddie Munson and he becomes the best friend she could have ever dreamt of. She loves him like the brother she's never had. But seeing as something's weird in this small town she's dragged in to events leading to Eddie's death. Emma doesn't know how to deal with life anymore, how do you go on when your best friend in the whole world dies? Well, you could always fall in love with the one guy you swore you'd never ever be more than a hook-up to. The one who helps you cope with Eddie's horrible faith, because he's equally heartbroken over it. This takes place during and after the events of Vecna's curse.
