Anyone in Hawkins, Indiana knows that finding Windy Henderson without Lizzy Hopper and Bella Rose, that it was a cold day in hell. The three are always seen together, even when Bella is babysitting four middle schoolers. It all started when Windy and Bella met and then it went downhill from there...

They have lots in common, they're shy, love dungeons and dragons way more than the other three boys, and they both have a single parent. Not to mention, they both have older brothers who are in the same grade at Hawkins High School.
