Abel Belmont, dirt poor orphan and avid anarchist, leaves his home country of The Weeping Coasts behind to explore the main continent of Norren. His goal? Abolishing all forms of government. After forming his ragtag group of adventurers: The Belmont Clan; He learns how to fight against monumental sized cults, corrupt politicians, creatures of the night, and many other challenging foes, all the while coming to understand himself and maturing alongside his new family.
