Elaine Phantomhive is the only daughter of Vincent and Rachel Phantomhive. She is also the youngest of three children. With strawberry-blonde hair like her mother and doe-like sapphire blue eyes like her father, Elaine is the perfect blend of her parents. She grew up so loved by her parents, siblings, and servants at the Phantomhive Manor.

However, on her older brothers' tenth birthday, an eight-year-old Elaine Phantomhive's life changed drastically. The Phantomhive Manor got attacked by assassins wanting to kill Vincent. Not wanting Elaine to die, Vincent puts his beloved Sunlight in a safe place and gives the key to his loyal butler, Tanaka.

Vincent's love for Elaine saved her life because a wounded Tanaka and a frightened Angelina took her away from her safe place and raised her under Vincent and Rachel's request.
