Feeling that something is definitely wrong I run the rest of the way to Zac's door and quickly open it up.

I'm struck dumb with what I see before me. There laying in the bed naked is my future Apha and my future Beta, or could it be my future Luna? 

The way they are looking into each other's eyes with such strong emotions would suggest that it's possible.

But Zac would've known that Mel was his true mate on his 18th birthday, so why has he been with so many other girls?

And why do I have this crazy burning pain in my solar plexus, could I be having a panic attack? 

I make a strangled sound which makes both Zac and Mel look up at me.

Mel has a look of happiness on her face which quickly turns to concern, but for some reason I see guilt all over Zac's face.

"Oh my God Penny, are you ok, what happened?" Mel says as she quickly separates from Zac, covers herself up and comes to me.

"I don't know, I had this burning pain in my chest but it is going now" I say rubbing the spot.

With curiosity getting the better of me I ask "what's going on in here? Are you guys together now?

The biggest, brightest smile crosses Mel's face as she confirms my suspicion.

"Yeah I really think we are true mates you know? I feel a strong connection, it must be the mate bond starting to form".

Hmm... if this is true then Zac would've felt the bond as soon as he turned 18.

 Why didn't they get together then? 
I look to Zac to confirm this as well but again he is avoiding eye contact with me. This is starting to become a habit.All Rights Reserved
