Being born a Nekomorph isn't as it's cracked up to be especially without a quirk to go along with it. 

Izuku Midoriya had the unfortunate luck to be born a Nekomorph without a quirk. For eighteen years she was bullied and belittled by almost all her high school classmates except one boy that our dear Izu-chan was smitten with. (no it wasn't Katsuki Bakuguhoe) 

It also didn't help that Her former number one Hero crushed her dreams of being a hero. Thankfully Izukus new number one Hero saved her for a dum choice.

Also if you're wondering why she is smitten with this man you'll have to read to find out. (also his identity will be a secret for a while unless your smart enough to come to a conclusion about who he is by the little hits in the story)
