All is well at Seattle Washington's Franklin High School until the marching band director delivers news to his band that he has cancer. The band's tenor leader, a girl named Owlen, knew something was wrong before he even said it, and is by far the one most affected. With this terrible news hovering over them just months before Nationals, she and her bandmates must hold the Marching Hawks together, and at the same time deliver the help her director so desperately needs.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
