Anneliese Marlen, a senior in high school, has been plagued by misery and loneliness since middle school. Haunted by grotesque hallucinations and abandoned by almost everyone, she has been pushed to the depths of despair. But just when she is about to let go of hope; all it takes is one endearing soul to enter her life, for all of her pain to come to a screeching halt.
Ezra Lotte, the new transfer student in Anneliese's class, garners quite the attention due to his enigmatic, yet charming personality. Moved back into town after years and living by himself, he doesn't seem to strike any peculiarity.
But is he actually who he poses himself to be? And how is he connected to Anneliese?
